Professional Background
Shannon earned her bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Rutgers University before completing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Philosophy of Care
Shannon takes a friendly, patient-centered approach to care and values creating an environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and asking questions. Patient education is central to her philosophy, and she takes time to clearly explain relevant anatomy, ENT conditions, and available medication or procedural treatment options. By helping patients better understand their care, Shannon works collaboratively with each person to develop an individualized treatment plan that reflects their needs, goals, and preferences.
